46 okunen (El Juego) - 38,0 MB (39.875.117 bytes) - aprox en disco -> 38,1 MB (39.976.960 bytes)
np2nt (Neko Proyect II ver.082) - 1,50 MB (1.577.264 bytes) - aprox en disco -> 1,51 MB (1.593.344 bytes)
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 2.FDI <- capitulos 1 y 2
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 3.FDI <- capitulos 3 y 4
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 4.FDI <- capitulos 5,6 y epilogo
ir a FDD1 (seria disquetera #1)
y monta 46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) A user.FDI
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 2.FDI
usar alt+enter y tienen pantalla completa
Enable 16color (PC-9801-24) marcado
timing: (por defecto)
T-RAM -> 1 clock
V-RAM -> 6 clock
GRCG -> 8 Clock

E.V.O.: The Theory of Evolution is an RPG, about one step more primitive than the Dragon Quest games published by the same company. You control one character as they progress through the different eras of life on planet Earth, fighting turn-based battles with damage being based on stats that you control directly. Once you’ve pushed a stat to its uppermost limit, your character evolves into a completely different creature with different abilities in battle. The story itself is somewhat similar to Search for Eden, but much more fleshed out with a lot of different stories for each era that the game explores. And while Search for Eden ends with humanity as the pinnacle of evolution, The Theory of Evolution goes a bit further into the future…

1. Verify that the following folders are OK
46 okunen (The Game) - 38.0 MB (39,875,117 bytes) - approx on disk -> 38.1 MB (39,976,960 bytes)
np2nt (Neko Project II ver.082) - 1.50 MB (1,577,264 bytes) - approx on disk -> 1.51 MB (1,593,344 bytes)
2.verify that you have the following files in the "46 okunen" folder
NOTE: the game is already translated into English beforehand, forget about Spanish, it's already a blessing
that it is in English, but I do not intend to change the name of the files, because I don't feel like it.
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) A user.FDI <- equals savegame and hard disk installation, contains cinematic INTRO
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 1.IDF <- skip to #2 not used
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 2.IDF <- chapters 1 and 2
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 3.IDF <- chapters 3 and 4
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 4.IDF <- chapters 5,6 and epilogue
3. HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE GAME
Neko Project II is an emulator of a NEC PC-98,
therefore we are working with a pc not a console like snes or sega
for this reason you work with floppy disks or virtual hard drives (the latter not included, look for them outside, but it is not sure to find something good)
When opening np2nt (which is already set to English)
go to FDD1 (serious floppy drive #1)
and ride 46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) A user.IDF
This will be your "base installation", don't unmount it, don't touch it, just leave it there
and better not even touch turning off the computer, better send it to hibernate or something else,
but keep the emulator open, as it doesn't handle saved ones very well,
but the game works 100%.
Now to start playing for real you need to mount on FDD2
46 Okunen Monogatari - The Sinkaron (J) B 2.IDF
Why not B1? It's the original disc without translation of the game
if you want to play it in japanese, but better not touch anything and have everything together
when you play, the system will be with a background sound from time to time,
It is an emulation of reading sound
you can deactivate it in DIVICE -> SOUND -> Seek Sound (uncheck it),
but it serves to know if the emulator is
running or not the disk or an error has occurred, this will be your decision.
When you finish the chapters on the game disc, it will ask you
" INSERT DISK # into B " this B is FDD2,
so repeat the mounting drive that follows each time you're done, you don't need to eject it.
(BUT NEVER TOUCH FDD1!)
Settings data:
In configure:
The CPU must be at 4576Mhz x 16 (39.3216Mhz) NOTE: THEY ARE 0.039Ghz!! A whole beast of a processor... for 1980! xd
Architecture on PC-9801 VX (default)
Sound in 44KHz (original in 11KHz, but is better in 44KHz)
Buffering in 100ms
Allow Resize -> allows to change the screen size with the mouse, better
use alt+enter and have full screen
and everything else is disabled
Onscreen:
Real palette - does not affect anything in the game
Autoframe -> time between frames. NOTE: It's not a cheat itself, but when he's low on health, get away from everyone and press "no wait" and you'll see the magic.
inside screen options: "use skipline revisions" should be set to 225
chip: uPD7ssD (default)
Graphic charger: GRCG+ (default)
Enable 16color (PC-9801-24) checked
timing: (default)
T-RAM -> 1 clock
V-RAM -> 6 clock
GRCG -> 8 Clock
RealPalettes -> 0 although if you move this......it doesn't affect the color or anything, keep participating
IMPORTANT IN DEVICE
if you want to remove the background chirp, DEVICE -> SOUND -> Seek Sound (uncheck it)
There is THE OPTION "memory" which is the ram of the virtual computer,
it is best to leave it at 7.6MB since most PC-98 games
they accept a little less than this, plus it is set up together with the CPU in one equation
